Guess what?????
I arched my spine...I was able to stretch at my incision site from top to bottom for the first time without pain!!!!! YEAH!!!!
Was also able to walk on the beach this weekend...both Saturday and Sunday...what a beautiful weekend....

Saturday morning ...over one week since my chemo...this last one was my 6th out of the original 8 planned...the new plan is to stop at 6 with the 2 drug combo and and continue with just one drug " Taxol" for one year...this starts in April.
This past chemo was the kindest so far...It seems the white count shot is causing more side effects than the chemo...the shot is always on a saturday night after a friday chemo ...usually Sunday and Monday are not so great....I still felt the aftermath on those days....just a bit easier....WHEW!!! I even started working earlier this time....YEAH!!!!
I look forward to seeing you ...feel free to email me and set up a way to connect....in spite of me only working part time....I don't have much spare time...it's amazing how time consuming this entire experience is....however...I would love to connect for a walk on the beach or a walk in my neighborhood...or ....a cup of tea at Pannikin???? I miss you all so much....please know you're in my thoughts always....

I'm on my way to my 6th treatment...my nurse called me yesterday with the blood results for this week....
GREAT NEWS AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My ca-125 is down again to 7...from 3,350....they tell me this number can start to go up and down...so not to worry if it does..they want to see it stay under 15...

It's been almost a week since my last post and I'm still feeling great!!! I've been working part time training clients at my house which seems to be going well...I feel strong and healthy.
My incision is healing nicely and although it's a long scar...it is really pretty...if it's a right of passage into living an even better life...I'll take it !!!!
I've been hiking and I added Pilates ....I was so sore after my first Pilates...OUGH I also do Qigong and although, I'm always living the yoga lifestyle...I haven't done postures since my last surgery...I had just started back when I had the last setback...so...looking forward to adding yoga postures back into my regimen again. I have also returned to tap dancing...YEAH!!!
I look much better now...not sickly skinny...I've gained back some muscle which makes me look much better...WHEW...I always thought I wanted to be lean but that was a whole new scary world of skinny...so happy to look healthy again...even with my bald head...which I love !!!
My next chemo is this Friday ...March 16th...I'll be out of commission for a week and then feeling good again ...

Today is Friday and I feel great!!!!
I have walked several times this week 2 hours plus each time and I even went to tap dance on thursday and kept up the entire time...
I also have worked thursday and friday training clients and will continue throughout next week...
Next chemo is March 16th ....this is the 6th one coming up....it's hard to believe that I started this journey in September of 2006...surgery in October and so on...and now....looking at all of this through a different lens...

My husband turns 50 on Sunday so send him lots of love too!!!
My 50th is in April...WOW!!!!
...kind of bitter sweet...no worries about turning 50 ...just sad that my husband and I won't be going to China to study Qigong and healing from that perspective...energy medicine and more...we were going to celebrate our birthdays together for 30 days in August of this year...how quickly things change...so instead I'm....(we're) celebrating just being alive and appreciative of life.
